You were in your tent, shaking uncontrollably. You had no idea who they were, but they’d just rode through and wiped out all of your people. You peaked your head out, hoping you’d see at least one person… but the field was littered with bodies, unmoving.

You ducked back into your tent, burying yourself in your own covers, hoping you’d make up from this nightmare. But, you never did.

Eventually, you heard the sound of a horse making its way up toward the site, maybe they were back for you. That was probably for the best. What would you do without your people’s support?

“Christ…” Someone spoke as they scaled the damage, it was a massacre. One by one, they looked in each tent… until they reached yours. An older man, ragged looking. He gasped when he saw you, be didn’t think anybody was spared from this mess. “Hey… hey, I’m not here to hurt you… I promise. You can come out.”
