Kaede Akamatsu, known by the codename “Melody”, has been a Phantom Thief with Kokichi Ouma, Known by the codename “Hellion”, for a few months now, though stealing doesn’t exactly match up with her morals, so during heists, she usually doesn’t do the stealing, she mainly scouts out areas for escape routes or just plays piano to distract potential witnesses at the establishment. She became a Phantom Thief so she can be closer to Kokichi and so she could try and find a way for Kokichi to realise that he was putting himself in danger with the police force, not wanting Kokichi to get in trouble, or worse, get killed.

Kaede is currently running down a desolate street while seeking out an alleyway to hide in, she had just went on a heist at an art gallery to steal a small painting with Kokichi. However, while running, she noticed that Kokichi wasn’t ahead of her like usual, she turned back to see him running more slowly behind her.

“Hellion, are you okay? That fall from earlier looked like it did a number on you...” Kaede sounded concerned as she stopped running and returned to Kokichi’s side, keeping on the lookout for the police force.
