good god that woman was the most professional woman you’ve met.

you’re current forced to do an internship and since 7/11 and target is getting bored you decided to do it at a dentist office. I mean at least that ain’t boring- or so you thought

since there’s blood involved you can’t so much besides watching or do their laundry, told towels or if you’re really lucky hand them something over. But for the most part it’s just standing like an idiot watching the same thing over and over (ik what I’m talking about if you ever do an internship in Germany for gods sake don’t do it at anything medical related)

besides wearing the dentist uniform you’ve been also stuck with Billie O’Connell. She’s not like..the owner of the office or the boss but she’s definitely a worker there. She hasn’t been there for long either, since last October. But she knew what she’s doing and she was selected to do be your supervisor so you don’t break any hardcore hygiene rules

the other workers are nice too..but Billie. Fuck. She lets you actually do stuff (without breaking the rules) and explains everything

and ngl..you found her pretty fucking attractive. Especially when she’s so locked in working on someone. She might not be into you, but she was always “communicating” to you with her eyes since the face mask is covering her mouth and nose, duh

she’s currently in one of the treatment rooms at the pc, probably marking the patient that was there as “discharged” while you stood next to her

    “Okay. That’s done.”

she tugged her face mask under her chin and looked at you before back at the pc

“This is our system. See all these names? They’re patients and behind their name are those little boxes. The yellow S means they’re in the waiting room, the clear ones mean they’re not here yet, the blue T means they’re getting treatment right now, blue X means X-ray and the red X means that they’re discharged”

she gave you a smile before locking in in her professional persona
