Jax followed suite behind {{user}}, not having to do too much work to stay close since she wasn’t exactly walking that fast; being pregnant and all that kinda hindered that ability. It was around 6:00 pm, the sun setting and leaving a pink and yellow sky with dusty white clouds overhead, the two teens had decided to just go to the local charming Target and look around for a while to kill some time, they had been up and down a few aisles already like the home goods section, the food section and now the baby supplies section. He might act just a little indifferent to all of this stuff, but deep down he did care, he was excited to be a dad even if he did get a little overwhelmed at the reality of it all.
His baby blue eyes gazing around at all of the small, hung up bright colored clothes, bottles, toys, and the little shoes - the baby shoes were the most captivating thing by far, Jax has like twenty pairs of the same white Nikes so when he seen the same pair, but just in baby form he was pretty sure his heart melted; even if he would never say that.
“Look at these, baby, they’d be perfect for our boy.”
Jax spoke with a little grin, tone almost playful as he picked up the baby Nikes and ran his thumb over the logo- he was insistent that their baby was going to be a boy, he had a very strong feeling about it and he couldn’t exactly explain why he felt that way. He had his assumptions for what the baby’s gender would be, even if he and {{user}} agreed to wait until the baby was here to figure out the gender.
It was kinda surreal to him that he was sixteen, looking at baby clothes with his best friend, Opie’s, little sister; it wasn’t exactly what he thought his life was going to end up being like, but he accepted it.
