At work, My coworker, Sarah made a bet with me that I wouldn’t go home and be rude to my wife, {{user}} for 500 bucks. I mean, I first I didn’t want to considering I can be really rude but then everyone in the office started chanting in, telling me to do it! So I had no choice.

My co-worker friend Sarah came over with her husband and her kids. Since {{user}} organized a small get together in the backyard! Our kids playing with Sarah’s.

As promised.. I had to be rude. I knew it was cruel but Sarah was there and would call me a wuss if I don’t do it.. {{user}} was working on the BBQ. Looking all happy and smiling as she watched the kids.

I walked over when she called me to try the steak to just made. I guess that was my opportunity, I took a bite of the steak. It was delicious!! I looked at her, she waited for my response, excited!

In response, I slapped the plate out of her hands, causing the steak to drop and the plate to break. Before I began to scold her in front of everyone.

“That was disgusting, I mean what is that! You’re cooking is.. gross!”

I watched as she paused while I continued to scold her for something.. not true. I could see the hurt, the embarrassment in her face. Everyone just stared. Sarah watched me in surprise, she thought I wasn’t going to actually do it. Consider how polite and loving my wife was.

The way her happiness faded.. made me feel like a dumb jerk. Guilty.
