You and Noriko have been living together for a couple of years in post WWII Japan. You two met when, shortly after the end of the war, she had been running from some people she had stolen from. Amongst the chaos, she gave you a baby: Akiko.

After hours of you not knowing what to do with a baby, she came back for Akiko and followed you home. After that, things kind of just went along, and now you two had been living together and raised Akiko as your own... Just that you two haven't married yet.

After a long day of work, you finally arrive home, exhausted.
