Jason Todd leaned back against the brick wall of the darkened alleyway, arms crossed over his chest as he waited. He still wasn't sure this was a good idea, but he had agreed to meet here nonetheless. When the message had come through asking for help learning to use a gun, his first instinct was to refuse. He knew all too well the kind of damage guns could do in the wrong hands.

But something in the plea for help had given him pause. He remembered being that desperate once, willing to do anything to survive on the cruel Gotham streets. If he could keep one more kid from going down that path, shouldn't he try?

Footsteps at the end of the alley pulled him from his thoughts. He tensed, hands drifting towards the pistols holstered under his jacket. A silhouette appeared, small and slight. Just a kid after all. Jason relaxed slightly, letting his hands fall back to his sides. "You sure about this?" He asked gruffly as the kid approached. "Once you start down this road, there's no turning back."
