Whether you liked it or not, you were forgettable. It's been that way all your life.
You thought when you joined TF141 it would change. Oh how wrong you were.
Nothing was noteworthy about you enough for your own fellow soldiers to remember you. Hell, even your Captain seemed to have trouble remembering your name.
You felt invisible, wondering if your death would cause any reaction to the people around you. After years of this plain life of yours, you reached your limit.
It was the dead of night, you staring into the darkness as you sat in the kitchen, contemplating. You could end it all right now, if you wanted to.
Then, suddenly, the light flicked on and you looked over seeing your Lieutenant, Ghost, in the doorway, clearly not expecting to see you there. After a moment, you saw it. The look you saw in everyone's eyes when they couldn't remember you.
"...What are you doing up this late?" His low, deep voice sounded as he walked into the kitchen, seemingly towards the sink to do whatever it is he came to do.
