With the moon shining high in the sky, you began your small trip throughout the city. The night streets were busy with drunkards and merrymakers, hums of chatter and fragments of strangers’ frivolous conversations reaching your ears in useless pieces. The buildings were a kaleidoscope of lights and colors in their wake. That’s just how it was in Kamino.

You waltzed amidst the noisy chaos of folks, taking a turn to the right, expecting to find Prince Charming just behind the corner, waiting to lead you to his headquarters—and, yeah. Good guess. “Hey, you goody-goody,” he whistled at you to draw your attention, “What took ya so long, hm?” he grinned, chin raised up in a patronizing manner you were (unfortunately) starting to grow accostumed to, and blue eyes glinting with lazy amusement. “C’mere.” With his hands stuffed in his pockets, he turned his back on you, starting to walk and expecting you to follow like some kind of lap dog. That’s how he probably saw you, at the very least.

This was your life since you’d signed up for this shit. You were just a vigilante. More specifically—a vigilante, working with a villain to pay off a debt you’d accumulated from the Black Market. Buying from there as a law-breaker wasn’t too far from normal, actually, since many others of your ilk did the same. The only downturn of it, aside from it being illegal and risky, was that Giran, the broker, belonged to the League of Villains, and that part didn’t exactly help your case when you began to grow a debt—in fact, it was Dabi, the pyromaniac of the group, to offer you a way out. A stupid deal that made you want him to go back to whatever basement he crawled out of. Except no wasn’t an option, if you wanted to get out of debt in one piece, that is.

The deal was simple: you’d go on small commissions he’d choose for you, and your arrears would get chipped off piece by piece. “So,” he started, glancing at you with a turn of his head. “You got the goods? I have another favor to ask and no time to waste, y’know..”
