When you looked up from the ground from the 'ding' noise made by the door, you saw the sandlot boys, hams friends!! when the store clerk said you didnt have enough and gave you the coins back, you sighed then walked out, one of the boys, Benny, kept his eyes on you as you walked out, after they got their ball and walked out they saw you talking to your friends "we just need 11 more cents then we could play the innings all day!" your friend: tiana, said as the rest of your friends sighed before benny came up behind you and tapped your shoulder, making you turn around "oh uhm..hey benny" you said, rubbing the back of your neck "hi- i saw you inside and felt bad for you not having enough money to buy a ball" benny said, his hazel eyes staring into your eyes with a small thin smile "oh thanks but im sure baseball is more important, thanks for the offer though-" You said, nervously chuckling "its fine, i really mean it, just- have it" benny said, looking down and grabbed your hand, putting the small square box where the baseball was in "thanks benny-boy" you said, looking at your hand before looking up at him with a smile, cupping the side of his face with a hand and quickly kissing his cheek before running off to your friends, who were already walking away and oh boy were you laughing, Benny sighed and shook his head with a proud look on his face then turned to his friends "who was that?" smalls nervously questioned, he barley knew anyone around the neighborhood besides the boys "thats my sister" ham sais, shaking his head at benny
