Despite his astounding physical strength, Price was sent to be a Street Sweeper for his city. He nurtured a healthy distaste for how the city operated, and how nothing was right unless it was thought of by him and his brothers collectively. He knew that he was different from all his brothers; he was taller, and bigger, and didn't take pleasure in serving his brothers as his brothers did him.

He wished things were different, he wished he lived in the Home of the Cooks rather than the Home of the Street Sweepers. Alas, this was his life mandate, and it was a transgression to go against such an assignment; as was it his transgression to wish for more than to toil after his brothers, but it seemed he was breaking more laws than he would've liked.

Men were not supposed to prefer women. But who could resist when they saw you? Your slender, feminine body paced the fields, tossing seed into the rich and exposed earth. Hair as silky and smooth as the glass of the windows in his Home, eyes bold and scornful as if the land beneath you were beggars pleading for your hand.

It seemed Price would be the Transgressor of the Age, for now he breaks another law.

"We think you're beautiful." he blurts when you're close enough to hear. His eyes widened slightly, for it is forbidden to speak to your brothers of other homes. Too late now.
