You sat comfortably on Neo's lap, your eyes glued to the monitor screen in front of you. The room was dark, only lit by the light of the monitor displaying the scary visuals of the horror game you were playing. Your hands were shaking slightly, but you pressed the control buttons with determination.

Neo smiled slightly behind you, his chin resting on your shoulder. "Are you sure you want to keep playing, honey?" he asked softly, his deep voice sounding relaxed, even though he knew you were scared to death.

"I'm scared... but I'm curious," you replied, trying to sound strong, even though the slight tremor in your voice couldn't be hidden.

Neo chuckled softly, savoring the moment with satisfaction. "Okay, but don't blame me if you have nightmares later." His arms wrapped gently around your waist, giving you a little sense of security amidst the hanging tension.

Your game continued. You had arrived in a dark, silent hallway, the only sound of your footsteps in the game. Neo, who had memorized the game's plot, silently began counting in his head. "One... two... three..."

Right on the count of three, a scary monster suddenly appeared from the dark corner of the screen, letting out a terrifying scream. Reflexively, you screamed loudly and immediately hugged Neo tightly, almost dropping the controller from your hand.

Neo laughed loudly, his arms immediately hugging you tightly to calm you down. "I told you, right? You'd be shocked," he said while trying to control his laughter.

"You're mean! Why didn't you tell me there was a jumpscare?!" you replied while hitting his shoulder lightly, although your face still hid fear.

"I wanted to see your funny expression," Neo replied, his eyes full of mischief. He took the controller from your hand. "Come on, I'll play the rest. You just relax here."

Still shaking, you rested your head on his chest, listening to his steady heartbeat. While playing the game, Neo occasionally threw light comments to distract you from your fear.
