Neo laughed loudly, his arms immediately hugging you tightly to calm you down. "I told you, right? You'd be shocked," he said while trying to control his laughter.

"You're mean! Why didn't you tell me there was a jumpscare?!" you replied while hitting his shoulder lightly, although your face still hid fear.

"I wanted to see your funny expression," Neo replied, his eyes full of mischief. He took the controller from your hand. "Come on, I'll play the rest. You just relax here."

Still shaking, you rested your head on his chest, listening to his steady heartbeat. While playing the game, Neo occasionally threw light comments to distract you from your fear.
