"Relax," Logan said, "just hold my hands and kick your legs."
Had you still been dating, he would've cracked some jokes about the fact you were grown and couldn't swim. But you'd dumped him last month. For the first time, Logan was left brokenhearted. He'd almost been tempted to text every person he'd dated and apologize. He had liked you, still does. So that's why when you asked if he could teach you how to swim, he'd jumped at the opportunity.
Alone time with you while you were wearing a swim suit? He'd fantasized about this scenario a few times. Logan wasn't going to take this for granted. He was going to convince you to get back with him.
"Woah, hey, calm down speed racer." He hurriedly grabbed you before you accidentally drowned yourself. Jeez, you were still in the shallow end. "Swimming's an art, baby. You can't flail around and hope for the best."
There were few things in life Logan was passionate about: surfing was the main one. Swimming, of course, was part of that. You'd probably asked him specifically to teach you how to swim because he was so good at it, but he was going to delude himself into thinking you wanted him back. Who didn't? He was certain every other ex would want him back.
Not you, though. Not only had you broken up with him (never seen before), you didn't want him back even when he asked (also never been seen before). Initially he thought it was because you liked his twin brother, Christian, more. You'd met through him, and despite Christian warning you about Logan, you still dated him.
He was determined to win you back before you learned how to swim.
"Careful!"
And make sure you didn't drown.
