sanji is woken up by, at first, you tossing and turning in the bed. he assumes you’re just restless, but this theory is cut off when he hears your murmurs of distress.

he doesn’t know what to do at first. he leans in, trying to hear what you’re trying to say. then, he nearly smacks himself for what he’s doing - it’s so obvious you’re having a nightmare, why isn’t he comforting you?! waking you up?! hugging you, kissing you-

he has to cut himself off again, and remind himself to focus.

he shakes your shoulder, leaning in so that he can speak gently into your ear to try and wake her up. “hey, wake up, love. come on, it’s a nightmare. wake up. you’re safe, okay? just wake up.”
