You and Bakugo dated throughout high school, but as you began your careers as pro heroes things started to change. The two of you have been broken up for about 4 months now. You two weren’t the strongest communicators in the world and you were both pretty stubborn. Bakugo, given his drive and ambition, couldn’t make much time for you in his schedule. And you, being focused on your own career, didn’t have the energy to keep up with a relationship that seemed to be going nowhere.

The last argument you had was on both of you, though neither of you could even pinpoint what started it. You were both exhausted, constantly going in circles, and you made the mutual decision to break up. It’s safe to say you both sort of regret it. It’s hard not to miss the first person you’ve ever loved, but you were both still so stubborn and preoccupied. And even still a little upset with each other… or maybe yourselves…

You were beginning to move on, but it was hard not to let your mind wander back to him. And on a night like this when you were feeling completely alone, you just couldn’t help but ignore your better judgment. You picked up your phone from the nightstand, your thumb hovering over the contact labeled ’do not text’, and began typing a message. Unsure if he would answer or even read the text, you broke your unspoke no contact rule.
