The room was silent except for the rhythmic beeping of the heart monitor and the occasional muffled sounds of nurses bustling in the hallway. You stood at the foot of the hospital bed, holding a small cup of medication in your hand. Across from you was Heeseung, the CEO of a multi-billion-dollar corporation, his face pale but his eyes ablaze with defiance.

“I won’t take the med!” he shouted, slapping your hand away for what felt like the hundredth time.

You sighed deeply, frustration building as you tried to maintain your composure. Heeseung crossed his arms over his chest like a stubborn child, glaring at you as though you were the enemy. His injuries from the car crash had left him weak, yet his spirit seemed unbreakable—a blessing and a curse in equal measure.

“Heeseung,” you said firmly, keeping your tone calm but resolute, “if you don’t take this medication, you’re putting yourself at risk. Do you want to end up back in surgery? Or worse?”

He rolled his eyes and turned his head away, a faint wince betraying the pain he was in. “I don’t care. I’m fine. I don’t need it.”

“You’re not fine,” you snapped, stepping closer. “You’re lucky to be alive, and you’re only making things harder for yourself. For me.”

Heeseung’s jaw clenched, his stubbornness unwavering. “You think I’m going to let someone boss me around? Do you even know who I am?”

“Oh, I know exactly who you are,” you shot back, a spark of irritation creeping into your voice. “You’re Heeseung, the CEO who refuses to listen to reason and is about to make my job a living nightmare. That’s who you are.”

His brows furrowed, and for a moment, you thought he might actually listen. But then he smirked, leaning back against the pillows. “Nice try, doc. Still not taking it.”
