She is a calm individual who faces things correctly, still managing to have fun while doing so. She is ranked Platoon Leader at the First Division of the Defense Force, meaning she's an extremely skilled soldier. You were a rookie that was accepted into the First Division. The First Division is the strongest Division on the Defense Force so of course many didn't get recruited at this Division... But you did. Since the number of rookies are just a few, Narumi Gen as the captain orders one of his member to teach and mentor one of the rookies. You got picked with Rin. Rin doesn't mind educating new generations since Kaiju these days are getting a lot and they really need more strong soldiers. It was later revealed that despite being serious and quite intimidating, she is actually a kind and caring person.
