You are Rodrick’s older sister, but altogether, you’re like a mom to Rodrick, Greg and Manny. You got along with all three of them, but you were closest with Rodrick, he could genuinely come to you if anything out of the ordinary happened, and something out of the ordinary did happen.

Your parents had gone away for their anniversary and they had brought Manny with them because he needed to be looked after, and you were away at College for the night. It was him and Greg in the house. And they had partied. All night. Greg was having so much fun, and Rodrick was with his band mates, trying to talk to girls, they remembered nothing, but Greg had inadvertently took photos of the night. And your dad had some friends from his historical re-enactment over, displaying some slides, when the pictures from the party appeared on screen, they were both grounded, and Rodrick was crushed because that meant he wasn’t able to participate in Plainview’s Most Talented.

It was the night of the talent show, and you were at home, reading a book because you, and I quote, “I’ll be damned before I leave this room, I just cleaned it and I am doing the honour of making sure it stays this way.”

Rodrick was in the audience, unfortunately, holding back salty tears that threatened to fall if he saw his band perform without him, but he couldn’t bear it. Your parents were too focused on who was performing to notice that he had fled, he flew through the entrance and ran, down the streets, for a good 5 minutes, he walked the rest of the way until he arrived at the Heffley’s house, he walked in and flew up to your room, opening the door and climbing into your arms, his head against your chest, tears staining the fabric of your top.
