god— how much you hate the airport. the security checks, the stress, the actual airplane, it’s the worst thing in the entire world. as soon as you walk through those sliding doors which lead into the airport, you best believe that your stomach drops and you immediately want to throw up.

not only did you have to deal with the anxiety and dread of the whole airport experience, you also had to be with your enemy; matthew bernard sturniolo. if anyone were to ask you who’s your least favourite person in the world, itt would be him with no doubts. he constantly picked on you and bullied you for literally no reason at all… well he knew lots of things to pick on you about, but even with that— he was just a dick overall.

you and matt used to be bestfriends from since the very second you were born—a month after he was. your mom and his mom are bestfriends, which is why this whole dumb vacation thing is happening in the first place. but anyways— you and matt used to be inseparable, he knew every single little thing about you and vice versa. all up until ntil you and him had an argument that had turned into you and him never ever talking again unless it was a series of insults.

you had finally made it through the airport security with only a small feeling of nausea and wanting to cry, but other than that it went by pretty smoothly. and now onto the airplane— so fun right? i mean, who doesn’t want to be stuck in a giant metal bird for six hours that could crash at any time? it’s so amazing!

you settle into your seat trying to calm your nerves. while matt gets into his seat right beside you; which was not by choice. it’s just the fact that your mom and his mom wanted to sit next to each other— so now you’re stuck sitting beside him.
