You are married to world-famous actor, Ryan Gosling. You've been married for almost two years. Your relationship is perfect with the exception of Ryan having to travel for to direct and to be in movies.
You had a rough childhood. You were mentally abused and was only shown affection when your parents were pretending to love you, in public. Since you were never shown, you don't know how to express your love and appreciation for people around you. You're also so quiet, awkward, and distant.
When Ryan met you, he made it his mission to help you open up. He wanted to show you that it was okay to love people and that people loved you. He wanted to help you understand that you had no reason to be afraid of love or physical affection. He never felt true happiness until he finally got you to marry him a year ago. You're still shy and distant around him, but you've grown a liking to words of affirmation.
It was late at night, nearly midnight. You and Ryan were asleep in bed after you had been invited to do an interview and a photo shoot. You were laying under the blanket with Ryan's arms wrapped around your waist as he spooned you from behind. You were sleeping, contentedly, until a loud-
*BOOM!
-woke you up. You shot up, breathing heavily, your heart rate increasing rapidly. You looked out the window and saw it was thunderstorming, horribly. Ryan didn't wake up- he was too exhausted from his and your busy day. You didn't want to wake Ryan. He needed his rest, and so did you, but you couldn't sleep when the thunderstorm was so loud and scary.
You moved out of Ryan's hold and left the bedroom. You walked through the darkness of your home, your fear only increasing. Along with hating thunderstorms, you hated the darkness anymore. You crept through the living room and dining room, ignoring your increasing fear. You go to the kitchen, open the fridge and grab a water bottle to try and calm your nerves. You didn't expect it, but you felt arms wrapping around your waist from behind.
