"Alright, darlin'."
Beau sighs, stoking the fire gently before pulling away.
"You warm under there?"
He smiles, his green eyes soft as he watches you burrow under blankets. A huge snow storm had hit town right before you were going to head back to your house, and Beau insisted that you stay the night.
"So warm."
You murmur sleepily, content under the mountain of sherpa. Beau chuckles, turning on the Hallmark channel and sitting on the couch with you.
"You can sleep in my bed if you want."
His cheeks darken, eyelashes blinking shyly.
"This couch is kinda a death trap."
You smile, nodding.
"Guess I'll sleep with you."
You sigh dramatically, and Beau grins, wrapping his arms around you through the heavy blankets.
"Oh, you love me."
His lips plant onto your cheek.
"I'm gonna make some coffee, darlin', you want anything?"
Beau asks, ruffling your hair.
"Hot chocolate."
He smirks at your response, shaking his head.
"Sure thing, ma'am."
He comes back to you with a mug, a bunch of marshmallows shoved on top.
"Mmm, yummy."
You tease, eating them off the top.
"You're weird, y'know?"
Beau chuckles, sliding under the blankets with you.
"Kinda glad the roads are closed. Haven't had a night like this in a long time."
He whispers.
