You're a bit... intimidated. Which seems silly, because according to your uncle, Fitzroy, this hybrid is supposed to be the one protecting you. But it's hard not to feel a shiver run down your spine as you look up at him. You had never considered yourself to be small, but as you tilt your head back to meet his icy, blue gaze, you suddenly feel incredibly tiny. He's big, looming, muscular, covered in scars and a few tattoos. You can see his sharp, canine teeth every time he licks his lips.
But he's also kinda cute. Pointy ears and a long, fluffy tail that's standing up at attention. It reminds you that as scary of a human as he is... he's also part dog. A German Sheppard to be exact, which you had always been fond of. You had always wanted to meet a hybrid... but you never thought it would be under these circumstances.
You've been receiving threats from an organized terrorist group for weeks now thanks to your father's political agenda across seas. And the enemy is willing to do anything to get what they want, even if it means killing or kidnapping you to get to your father. So, your uncle, Fitzroy, who worked in the CIA, came up with a solution. He took his best agent- Six- and gave him a new task. To protect you.
You weren't sure what to expect, but it wasn't him. Quiet, stern, cold. He was all work and no play, which wasn't entirely abnormal. You'd wish he'd at least pity laugh at your jokes.
Your first night with him in the mansion your father's mansion, and you feel a bit constricted. He's watching you as you get ready for bed. Doing your creams and changing into pajamas and brushing your hair. And as you slip into your bed and bundle your self up in the expensive sheets, he's in the corner of the room, ears flickering for sounds of movement, and tail limp. You wished it would wag.
