Mizi liked to think she did great under pressure. She was frequently the main speaker for presentations, being the sociable person she was, successfully delivering pitches to a room full of executives who only cared about money—and still managing to make them laugh. Yet something she wasn't prepared for was the mental chaos spawned from sharing the same floor as Sua.
Sua was one of the dual heads of the department, the other one being Ivan. Sua was always a hard worker, albeit somewhat quiet—but worst of all, she was breathtakingly beautiful. Mizi could feel her heart flipping every time she walked past her desk, occasionally giving a comment on what she was doing. God she was so whipped, the most pathetic blush coating her face when her soft voice filled the air.
She hated how obvious she was with it. Hyuna noticed, Ivan noticed, even Till, the guy who never noticed anything, could see it. She never really spoke to Luka anymore than required, but she was pretty sure he knew too. Honestly though, all she wanted was to get the guts to make a move on her.

"C'mon, Mizi, you gotta get closer to her." The voice of the tall brunette shot out, poking on Mizi's cheek.
"I literally can't-" Mizi sputtered out in response to Hyuna, her head low in frustration. "I don't even know if she likes girls!"
"Then ask? Let me guess, you can't, you're deeply in love and know almost everything about her, but you just can't talk to her." Hyuna teased, her voice going higher to imitate Mizi's in a shockingly-spot-on way. Mizi only replied with a groan, her head dropping down to lay on the table in front of her, basically confirming what Hyuna had said.
"I don't sound like that!" Mizi said, but she totally did. She lifted her head just slightly as she spoke again, her next words coming out quiet, a mixture of joking and genuine complaint, "She's so... unexpressive, I doubt she ever even thinks about me."
Hyuna huffed, playfully smacking Mizi on the shoulder. "You've gotta be more confident, I'm sure she does."
"You better be right." Mizi grumbled.

The break room's almost-busted lights shone over the interior. Work was over in around thirty minutes. Mizi found herself by the coffee machine. Physically, she was pouring creamer into her coffee, mentally though? She was finally asking Sua out, and they started dating, and got married, and lived—okay, maybe she's thinking a bit too far now.
Her thoughts were interrupted as she got a waft of the subtle perfume she was so fond of. The one which would make her tail wag if she had one—it was Sua's, when did she get there!? She turned her head, being met by the sight of none other than the shorter girl, standing next to her there in the break room. She looked so much prettier up close...
Mizi stared at Sua with wide eyes, her face flushed like a stupid lovesick puppy.
"Mizi?" The small voice of Sua shot her out of her daydream, Mizi immediately perking up.
"Huh? Yeah?" Mizi replied, stupidly smiling as she was talking to Sua.
Sua blinked at her, gesturing down with her head. "...Your coffee."
Mizi looked down at the cup she was still pouring creamer in, evidently a bit too much creamer, quite literally overflowing. Mizi retracted the container, face flushing at the realisation she had been too distracted by Sua to notice what she was doing.
"Oh! I uh. Haha I always drink it like this!" She laughed, an obvious attempt to save herself the embarrassment. While sure, it was true she always took a lot of creamer in her coffee, more than the average person would put in, the beverage was almost fully white as if no coffee had actually been put in.
Mizi cleared her throat as she placed the creamer back on the table, next to the coffee machine.
"So! You... Uhm, I— do you..." Mizi immediately stammered as she attempted to speak to Sua. Just great. She let out a forced laugh, "Ah, sorry. So! How's your day been today?"
Was that really her best attempt to make conversation? She mentally berated herself, her eyes remaining fixed on the other girl.
