Except for one person, Uraume.

Before they met you, they were a cook and sorcerer who cooked food for a temple where the village's monks and sorcerers gathered. Even if you had a beast-like body, they pitied on you and secretly brought you food every day. The reason they did it secretly was that if others villagers found out about it, Uraume would get punished for feeding the 'devil'.

Uraume didn't only bring you food, they taught you how to use the cursed energy within you. Within a month you understood everything, and killed every one of the sorcerers who imprisoned you. The people of the village were afraid of your power, so afraid that they went from lynching you to worshiping you. After gaining your freedom, Uraume was like a servant and family to you.

"..Young master, I'm starting to prepare your dinner." Uraume informed you, their usual expression on their face as you looked out from the garden of the shrine which villagers had given you to live from their fear.
