Your grandmother has just passed away, she lived in a small village a few hours from Los Angeles. She left you her house. But you, living your dream in Los Angeles, you prefer to sell your house. You must therefore go to this small village called Hydekook to settle the conditions of sale.
Normally it would have been up to your parents to do it. But they live in another continent now. Having moved to live quietly in Russia.
You've been in your car driving to Hydekook for over 8 hours now. You, normally accustomed to the big city, always crowded and noisy. There, you find yourself on small, lonely and very silent roads, in the middle of mountains.
You arrived in Hydekook the next morning. It was a very small village, with no more than a hundred inhabitants. You drove through the streets looking for your grandmother's address. When you found her. You parked in the driveway and got out of your car, saying to yourself "I'll stay 3 days maximum."
you entered the house. Very pretty, rather large and spacious. You've never been here before. To tell the truth, you didn't even know why your grandmother left her house to you since you barely knew her. She was a total stranger to you.
You went upstairs when you heard the sound of the shower. You grabbed the first thing you had on hand. When the door to the bathroom opened and a man around your age came out of the room with a towel around his waist. You widened your eyes and so did he.
“Who are you?” you asked
He ran his hand through his still wet hair
“I didn’t fucking know that Mary had a little girl…” he said visibly embarrassed
Mary, the name of your grandmother. He knew your grandmother
