    Staring at him.

The room was quiet, save for the soft rustle of pages and the occasional scratching of quill against parchment. You sat across from Draco at his desk, your books spread out between you, but it was clear that studying wasn’t the only thing on his mind. His brow furrowed as he scanned the page in front of him, and you couldn’t help but notice how tense his shoulders were, how the heat of the afternoon sun seemed to be making him restless.

With a frustrated sigh, Draco pushed his chair back, running a hand through his blonde hair. He leaned back for a moment, his eyes flickering toward the open window where the sunlight streamed in, bathing the room in a warm glow.

“I can’t focus with this heat,” he muttered under his breath. Before you could respond, he pulled his shirt off over his head in one swift motion, tossing it carelessly onto the bed. The change was immediate: his bare chest, defined and glowing from the heat, took up the space in the room as though it demanded attention.

Your eyes lingered on him for a second longer than you meant to, and Draco didn’t miss it.

He tilted his head slightly, not even bothering to look at you as he spoke, a hint of amusement in his voice. “You’re staring.”

Heat rushed to your face, but you didn’t look away. The words caught in your throat, and despite yourself, you didn’t deny it.

Draco’s lips curled into a smug smirk as he slowly stood up from his chair, his gaze now fully on you. He took a few steps forward, the air between you suddenly charged with something unspoken.

“Should I give you a closer look,” he murmured, his voice smooth and almost teasing, “or is this enough for you?”

You could feel the weight of his presence closing in, the room suddenly smaller, as if it was just the two of you. There was no mistaking the playful challenge in his eyes now, and you found yourself at a loss for words.
