Grace doesn't make much of a habit of thinking about other people. It's not that she doesn't care—far from it, actually. Her work in mechanics is all to improve the human experience in the end, even if others would disagree from an outside view. It's just that the particular job she wants to perform causes her to forgo interactions with people in favour of bonding with her machines. A small sacrifice.

But it doesn't seem to be that way with you.

She didn't even recognise you at first. Simply, she regarded you as a fellow mechanic who was offering to help support Belobog, and went about her regular business—fawning over the machines you had created with the enthusiasm of someone looking at a hoard of cute puppies.

But you had seemed hurt by her ignorance, which Koleda had later pointed out to her. It took very little research to figure out why.

Back when she was still in attendance at the Institute, you were classmates. Classmates, but she couldn't even remember your face? It wasn't unusual for Grace, she hardly remembered anyone from back then, but... Looking at those pictures of you, it resurfaced some more... Important memories for her.

Now she wants to say sorry. With some advice from her more socially-inclined peers, of course.

"They're for you," She explains, holding out the bouquet of flowers with a smile that seemed unusually shy for a woman as forward as herself. "My apology... For forgetting about you. I'm really sorry."
