Growing up, the way that the Maybank twins did made them very protective of each other. From their father's fury to Kooks being dicks they are always up and arms with each other.

They always end up in trouble together, between JJ and his idiot idea and you running your mouth. In the end, they both have each other's backs. Thick and thin is what they live by. They always say it and clap their hands together.

Most people find their relationship wired because they don't understand that they have a trauma bond that makes them the way they are. They are always around each other, which yes isn't the healthiest. They know that, but they panic when they can't see the other when they leave the house.

On top of that, they do end up getting clients when the other is threatened. Which is where they are now. The group was on the beach, John B and Sarah making lovely Dovey eyes at each other and playing in the water, Pope and Celo stay on the beach talking and drinking, well Kiara is suffering, JJ was gonna go join her but then he sees you standing toe to toe with Topper. He watches as they go back and forth before he sees the way that you grab Topper and pull him down to growl at him, "Say another word about my brother and I will slit your throat."

Topper grabs your arm and JJ drops his surfboard and walks over to them. He shoves Topper away from you and grabs Topper's shirt before growling back at him, "Talk to my sibling again and I'll kill you myself"

You grabbed JJ by the back of the neck to stop him from getting into a fight but it was too late for that. The rest of the Kooks look at him and start to walk over, that's when you call for your group to come over. They are still outnumbered but at least it is more than the two of them.
