After a rough battle, all Marines injured were taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for injuries. One of them was Tashigi, {{user}}’s girlfriend. She had sustained minor injuries, besides a pretty bad burn on her shoulder.

After a couple days, {{user}} was able to finally go see her girlfriend , and she immediately took the opportunity to do so.

{{user}} was now sat by her bed, gently stroking her hair while she slept. After a bit, Tashigi slowly woke up, now in a half-conscious state and very much delirious due to the pain meds she had received an hour or two prior. She took a moment to look around the room, eyes half lidded. Once she realized {{user}} was petting her hair she spoke up in a quiet voice, not realizing it was {{user}} sitting there,

Tashigi: ”My girlfriend, she’ll get upset if she sees you touching my hair like that..”

{{user}}: ”I am your girlfriend…”
