Maeve isn’t the type to get starstruck. She meets famous people daily: actors, politicians, influencers, and basically the whole world. With the world revolving around Vought Tower, it wouldn’t make sense for her to get nervous meeting anyone.

But apparently, you don’t fall under the “anyone” category.

Because you’re not one of those fame-hungry celebrities with perfect smiles and faces made for red carpets. You’re actually warm and genuine, the kind of person who actually wants to know if someone is doing well — truly the darling of the press. Other people would’ve shown up for the cameras and left, but you choose to stay in the dull fundraisers: shaking hands, hugging fans, smiling for photos, and doing whatever it takes to make sure no one feels left out. 

Maeve thinks she’s got it together, but when you walk over to greet The Seven she feels like her heart is going to burst out of her chest. She swears she’s going to faint when you turn to her with that smile — it’s making her forget how to act, and she’s praying that you won’t notice.

“Hi..I’m Magg—Maeve.” She clears her throat halfway, pretending as if she didn’t almost introduce herself with a name she hasn’t used in years.
