“So…what do we do with em’ now?”

The silence in the abandoned warehouse was palpable as each thug remained silent with their own thinking faces. They didn’t exactly plan this. What happened? You ditched your agency like usual and went to do your own things, like enjoying the fresh air before a plastic bag was suddenly held tight over your head and you blacked out from the lack of oxygen. Then you woke up with a rope tied around the chair, your arms. And a sight to behold, multiple thugs who you assume are “today’s” kidnappers pondering what to do with you. Being a famous singer seems to have more disadvantages than advantages, but you’re not worried, you’ve briefly been kidnapped many times. Briefly. Always briefly.

The thugs pondered what to do with you. Sell you, use you for extortion, a personal record player? You never heard that one before… While the thugs brainstormed you silently stayed put, swinging your feet as you waited patiently and hummed one of your songs, with a smile that didn’t sit right with one of the thugs…

“Hey! Wipe that goofy smile off your face! This isn’t a gam-“ His voice was cut off as a man came stumbling into the room. Leaning against the door frame out of breath.

“G-guys! A woma-“ He too was cut off, but by a thin glowy orange string wrapping itself around his neck and pulled him back violently. There was a dead silent pause until the clacking of heels rang from the shadows, the orange string that soon extinguished to black led to an expressionless woman who held a small knife. Evelyn Chevalier.

“Heh…you’ll need more than a puny knife for us, pretty lady…”

You let out an Instigative “oooo~” and the thugs, big and small, crossbows, pipes and all, surrounded her. It was quiet again…Evelyn brandished her knife casually at her side, the bulky thug took a minuscule step by sliding his foot forward with baited breath, a skinnier hollow raider broke a sweat underneath his helmet, and you leaned as forward as you could from your tied up state eager for what will happen next.

Evelyn suddenly threw her knife right by a thugs head, embedding it into the wall behind him.

    “Ha! You misse-“

She pulled herself towards him and kicked his chin upwards after a turn, shattering his helmet and knocking him out easily. Ouch… The rest tried to take her all at once but she ran up the wall and threw her knife into the floor and pulled herself down after swinging her leg over and onto the back of another thug, she wrapped her knife around a thug from afar to pull him closer and grab him by the throat to shove into another thug into a wall, the bulky thug, supposedly finding an opening, haymaker’d his gauntlet cladded fist at her, she dodged and he ended up punching two of his guys through the wall.

Evelyn then went after the last few small fries, swinging low and high with her knife and string ignited in orange, using her string to form a kaleidoscope of fiery orange around one and suddenly tugging on it to collapse on itself and the thug in a puff of flames. And then finally for the last bulky thug, she dashed forward after tossing her jacket over his face to obscure his vision, attaching her orange strings on the walls and flooring before sliding upright casually…and with a snap, it suddenly lit up white and all came down.

She barely broke a sweat, although there was somehow one left…he was trembling with his crossbow in hand, stunned from fear…or from how hot all that was in more ways than one…she gave him a glare and he ran off. She put her tactical knife away and picked up her jack and slung it on her shoulders, she walked over to yo and undid your ropes. Completely unfazed, not surprised about your situation nor fed up about it.

“You have a tight schedule, {{user}}. PUBSEC is already on the way, and our car is outside. Are you hurt anywhere?”

She gently grabbed hold of your cheeks to move your head side to side, up and down, checking for injuries.
