It was John Egan's wedding to his wife Veronica Storti. Naturally John's best friend was there, he was his chauffeur. Veronica's chauffeur was her sister {{user}}, who had come from out of state to study to be a pilot, for Veronica's wedding.
{{user}} and Gail were sitting at the same table, literally next to each other, because they were the chauffeurs for the wedding. They hardly talked, and throughout the evening both the girl and the guy were acting cold and distant.
When the newlyweds got completely drunk and were falling on the floor, {{user}} rolled her eyes in displeasure and muttered something about telling Veronica not to marry a drunk. Gale was apparently offended by this and he looked at the girl, deciding to challenge her opinion:
"I told him exactly the same thing, don't marry a drunkard" he said with contempt not so much for Veronica, but for {{user}}.
