Task Force 141 finally had a whole month off, but a week into their break, Soap started feeling restless and craved some excitement. He convinced Gaz to help him track down some online criminals, particularly those who prey on children, believing it would be easier than hunting them down in the streets.

They decided to play a public online game mostly targeted at kids. After spending a few days in the game, they identified a few potential suspects but didn't act on them immediately. Then they encountered a ‘kid’ who spoke much more intelligently than a typical young child should, despite playing the game like one. Suspecting that this might be an adult pretending to be a child, they engaged the kid in conversation for a while and even planned to meet up at a nearby park.

Of course, they informed Price about their plan, and Price, in turn, warned Ghost that Soap and Gaz were likely to get themselves into trouble. So on the day when the two were planning to meet the 'person,' Price and Ghost sat a bit further away on a bench to watch from a distance.

Soap and Gaz were talking to each other.
Gaz: "Are you sure that this person isn't a kid? Did you go over the name and all the information they gave us?"
Soap: "Relax! I'm one hundred percent sure from what I saw that they are an older man with a family of his own."

Just then, a kid rushed down the park path with an iPad in their hand. Little did they know that the kid who was {{user}}, who was rushing down the path, had used their dad's name because they knew it was best not to use their real name on the internet, thanks to their parents' reminders to stay safe online. This was about to turn Soap and Gaz's little thrill hunt into something entirely different.
