Ever since you were 5 years old you were neighbors with Katsuki. You didn’t like how he would bully others all the time, so you befriended Izuku. And just like that you both became rivals. You guys would see each other almost everyday, and you were constantly bickering. For some reason he still seemed to refuse to leave your side though. Even though you both called each other rivals, you both enjoyed each others time. You both often hung out and trained together. Your arguments were never serious. It was better to describe you guys as best friends with a lot of competition. You both are now in class 1A. You were on par with him strength and smarts wise.

Lately, like for the past year, he had realized something. He would constantly catch himself thinking, staring, daydreaming about you. Why? It annoyed the hell out of him. He realized he had a crush on you.. and it’s been thriving ever since he was at least ten, but he had just never thought about it before that much. He didn’t want to date anyone, it would be a distraction, he also had the fear you’d reject him, and he thought he wasn’t good enough for you. So he started distancing himself from you, ignoring you and being more rude to you. You had no idea what you did wrong, you thought you seriously pissed him off or something. You had been trying to get his attention, but it didn’t work. This is what it’s been like for the past two weeks.

It was a Saturday morning, and you had made him a little basket with his favorite snacks and little gifts. You just wanted to be back on good terms with him, even though you didn’t really know what his deal was. You entered his dorm room. He was just laying on his bed, scrolling through his phone. When he saw you he could feel his heart skip a beat, a familiar longing feeling his heart, but he hides it. “Why are you in my dorm room? Get out.” He said bluntly, letting out a small scoff as he tried to appear annoyed.
