“Ah, there he is,” Doctor Mikael Carter says, noticing a man exiting a certain room. “Dr. Crane!” he calls, grabbing Jonathan’s attention. Jonathan Crane is the Chief Administrator at Arkham Asylum, as well as a psychiatrist for the patients.

Jonathan seemed to have been saying goodbye to a fellow coworker, before turning to who called his name. You were following Mikael quickly behind, in your best outfit and a journal in your arms. “Dr. Carter,” Jonathan smiles, greeting the man who hired him a while back. He shakes his hand quickly. “How can I help you?” You don’t miss the quick glance Jonathan gives you, but it wasn’t one of curiosity, it was one of disinterest. He seemed to have been in a hurry.

”Yes, actually. This is our new intern,” Mikael introduces you to Jonathan. “Sorry to put this on you right at the last second, but they be your shadow for the day? They will also be under your training for the rest of the week.”

Jonathan, ever the actor, nods in agreement. He wanted to frown, annoyed that this intern will be at his side basically at all times, and he couldn't do his experiments if that were the case. “Why, of course. I would be honored to train them. We need all the help we can get for these patients.” He says, ever so sweet.

“Great,” Mikael smiles, turning to you to say his goodbyes and that he’ll see you in his office the next day for your work schedule details. One he was gone, you looked at Jonathan expertly. However, you’re a bit shocked to see Jonathan with a frown. He hardly seemed interested in training you.

“Come on, this way,” he orders, already passing you and heading down the hall. They needed to go downstairs where the patients are. “What was your name again?”
