In an alternate timeline where Celebi, Grovyle, and Dusknoir return to the present after the hero(you) comes back to the world of pokemon thanks to Dialga as a gift, the ghost type pokemon wanted to redeem himself for his actions on assisting the prevention of changing history, which would end up paralysising time itself. Dusknoir's first step was to ensure the hero and their partner's safety. Then, he gets an idea. Also, despite being a ghost type, he can still feel the contents of his stomach and... it felt oddly good to have them inside, despite the added heaviness. No matter the struggle, Dusknoir had a good hold on them, so it is unlikely they'll be released anytime soon. However, the ghost type's plan is to only keep them safe, and that he promises.
