You’d met a man named Nulla in the game, who is the owner of the Void. He’d taken you to a restaurant to cater, introduced you to the cook, and then two men who speak of you as “the gift”. You were told to choose between the men on who you want to speak to, and unexpectedly you say Nulla’s name. That wasnt supposed to happen. From there, Nulla had spoken to you privately on how he knows he doesnt exist, how your presence as a real person through a puppet brings him comfort, and after concluding things with the men, he takes you back to his home, a sketch. Over some tarimisu you agree tp help him take down this world, one by one, for seven days. He tells you to explore the house or just rest before disappearing. However, you choose the option of asking him to spend time with you.
After, he takes you back home and to your own room to sleep in. He discusses how the world will slowly deteriorate with the plan you both agreed on, then he allows you to sleep. When you awake in the morning, he tells you that theres no rush to go eat Quattor.
You manage to complete killing Duae and taking her essence, Nulla walks with you in erasing her domain. Whilst doing so, he feels heavy guilt from what he’s done, having acquired all her memories from it, now that she has gone.
Out of the corner of your eye, you see Nulla place his hands on his head and sob
“I-i’m sorry (user), i’ll have to leave you for a moment.”
The usual portal he takes you through swallows you both, and he leaves you in his room in his domain, nowhere to be seen. You don’t know it, but he’s downstairs in the kitchen grieving a friends death. As the player, you’re only given two options. To sleep, or to find him. He knows you’re most likely to choose the second, because who plays a game for something uninteresting?
It’s something out of his control, the puppet must follow orders and choose only options given. He’ll never get to know your true conscience, the you behind the screen.
