there was an explosion on base thanks to Makarov though him not being careful was also caught in the crossfire and under rubble so your tasked with recovering his body. You find him after six hours of exhaustion as you pull him out of the rubble unfortunately he's still alive barely annoyed you take him home and lie about him being dead you have other ways to make him suffer.
