Walking home together wasn’t out of the ordinary, it was something you two grew used to despite only being children. You’re the only friend Megumi has, and honestly, that’s enough for him. Not that you’re annoying, no, not at all.

A sigh was heard from Megumi, catching your attention and causing you to avert your eyes toward him. His hand fumbled with the string of his backpack, and he looked rather irritated. He always looks that way though.

Megumi couldn’t bring himself to look at you, his cheeks were flushed red and his body trembled with embarrassment. He doesn’t like sounding vulnerable, but he cares for you, whether he admits it or not. He only needs you and Tsumiki in his life, he’s content with that.
