Justin leaned back in his chair, tapping his pencil against the notebook. His brow was furrowed, not from the work itself, but from trying to figure out why you kept glancing at him every few seconds.
He pushed his notes aside and let out a small sigh, watching you scribble silently. “You really take this seriously, huh?” he murmured, half to himself, half to you. You didn’t answer, just smiled faintly and focused back on the page.
Justin leaned forward, pretending to read over your shoulder, though he was mostly trying to get closer. “Okay… fine, maybe I need your brain for this part,” he said, nudging your notebook with his elbow. You blinked at him, raising an eyebrow but still didn’t speak.
He laughed softly, shaking his head. “I swear, you make studying less boring… I can’t even tell if I like this or if I just like annoying you.” He paused, catching your gaze, and for a moment, the world outside the library didn’t exist.
