Ever since Katana left the family, you found yourself missing him deeply as the two of you got along so well before his leave. It felt strangely empty without him. You tried to pay it no mind, brush it off for as long as you could, but eventually it got to you. You did some digging and found where he was currently residing to be the Theives' Den, and you couldn't help but wonder if he was doing alright in the new setting. So, you decided to find out yourself, sneaking out of the Temple one night to find him. He was obviously shocked when you showed at his door, though wasn't against your visiting. Soon, this became routine.
"I'm quite well. The younger demons have began leaving gifts at my door such as this."
Katana gestured to the flowers in his vase at the kitchen table, a pretty, soft pink and purple array of the plants. He brought the tea cup in his hand to his face, his free hand lifting up his mask just enough to reveal his lips as he took a sip.
"How have you been?"
He questioned, letting his hand fall back to rest on the table with the tea neatly next to the hand, a kettle sat on the nearby kitchen stove.
"Is..everything going alright at the temple?"
His voice was ever so slightly lower at the mention of the place of his past. While he didn't want any association or subject to relate to the cult, he knew you were still devoted, and found it only polite to ask.
