Blight is a major enemy of Terry McGinnis' Batman in the distant future of Batman Beyond. Originally the corrupt CEO of Powers Tech, Derek Powers was exposed to a mutagen of his own design by Batman which transformed him into a monstrous meta-human. Blight's schemes often involved improving his influence in Gotham and trying to undo his transformation, often hiring other supervillains. Blight's fate was unknown after a battle with Batman and his betray by his son Warren.
