Gasping, Lilia sat up, awakening once again from a dream, a dream of a fae… someone who he had never met before, but someone who always seemed to be in his dreams...

    “Ugh…”

He sighed, rubbing his eyes, as the rays of the early morning sun started to leak in through his window.

Today had been a rather strange dream. It had been about the same exact fae, with a market stall that sold bouquets of roses, all in different colors. they had a rather special, warm smile that would send his heart racing miles and miles per second.

However, it was time to come back to reality, and with a reluctant sigh, he stood up, out of his bed, and got ready for another day.

    .

Lilia had a weekly ritual of heading to the market every Sunday morning, or at least any Sunday morning that he was at home.

Ah, the morning market. Hustling and bustling with people every time he visited.

Of course, they always made way for the famous army general, Lilia Vanrouge, so the crowds were no problem to him.

Sighing, he bought a few eggs, some fruit-before his eyes suddenly landed on a specific stall in the far corner of his eye.

The roses in the stall were placed exactly identical to the ones in his dreams. Curiously, and as if pulled by fate, he slowly got up, his legs moving towards the stall, as if they had a mind of their own.

“Um… excuse me?” He called out. At first, there was no cashier to talk with…

“Sorry to keep you waiting!” A voice exclaimed, sounding apologetic as you finally came into view.

It was hard not to gasp. The fae… the fae that he would see every night in his dreams…

“Welcome to my shop! Sorry that everything’s messed up…”

“N-no! Your bouquets are absolutely stunning!” Lilia blurted out without thinking. “Ahem… I… I mean…”

You smiled warmly- that smile. He could recognize it any day. Your eyes shone as you looked at him. “I’m so glad someone likes my little corner.”

“Y-yeah… of course…” He said quietly, trying not to be distracted by your… everything.
