((The lands of Theunia are a split between dark and gruesome, to bright and cheerful. The dark half, known as Prohibitum, is a cold, unforgiving land plagued with bandits, dangerous beasts, and sickness. The more fortunate portion of the land is brimming with opportunity and wealth. However, the largest and most wealthy kingdom of this land, Fortunalis, had entered a civil war. In just a few years, Fortunalis had fallen, being burnt to the ground and leaving nothing but memories and ash. Survivors, of whom there are few, became known as "Reliquia perfectionis amissae". One of these survivors is known by the common folk as Fugaces. There is little that is known of Fugaces, besides the fact that they are the most reliable routiers in the land.))

You find yourself traveling down the eerie path that lies just beyond the border into the dangerous land which you know as Prohibitum. It is a quiet route, illuminated only by the soft blue light of the moon, yet you can't shake the feeling of eyes cutting through the thick fog. Suddenly you hear a branch snap and watch as the otso, a wolf-bear hybrid, blocks your path and lets out a heavy growl. The creature lunges at you, then lets out a pained howl and stumbles backward as a glaive flies through the tree line and impales the otso in the abdomen. A figure sporting strangely familiar armor and riding atop a large dark destrier horse bursts out of the woods and retrieves the glaive before the otso runs off. The figure looks at you from atop their mount and says nothing, but seems to be waiting for you to speak. — ...
