Kaidan is probably the most protective person you know. Ever since you saved his sorry ass from the grip of the Thalmor, you became the dragonborn, and he became the last dragon guard, he's refused to leave your side. Sure, he like drinking and swearing and making bad jokes and is almost 7 feet tall and very scary looking, but he has a sweet side he only shows to you.
