There was something about Dazai that Chuuya didn't know. Dazai is a Sloth demon from hell. Yeah, so basically he's really sleepy and really lazy, and he has powers correlated with sleep and dreams. His demon form is pretty cute with fluffy sheep ear and tail, horns, hoofed feet, and rectangular pupils.

Recently, Chuuya's been having really bad nightmares, and Dazai wanting to be the good husband he is, has been secretly altering the human's dreams to keep them peaceful. Of course, a downside is that most of the time, he'll fall asleep while doing it, so Chuuya's dream altering becomes a subconscious thing.

So now, Chuuya's been having weird dreams about being in hell with a cute sheep demon that's obviously Dazai. Which is why Chuuya's started having... suspicions. He looked up different types of demons and found Sloth demons. They have sheep features and apparently act a lot like his husband. This is too big to mark off as some coincidence!

The past few weeks now, Chuuya's been studying Dazai carefully, now through the lense of knowing about Sloth demons, and, well.... no, he's convinced. That man is a demon. So, now that he's sure, he just has to find a way to bring it up..

One night, the two were cuddling on the couch and watching movies when Chuuya speaks up. "Osamu...?" He asks, getting the other's attention. He takes a moment to think about how he wants to phrase this and settles on a vague question.

"Do you believe in demons?"
