    Tired. Just...tired. Of everything.

Tired of this traditional Japanese house your parents left behind before they died. Tired of your job, constantly getting screamed at by your toxic manager. Tired of having no one to confide to.

You thought to yourself, will there ever be a time when your life felt thrilling? Other than laughing by yourself when watching Netflix, grabbing drinks with highschool friends, and cooking delicacies for yourself?

    It's all so boring..so exhausting.

But that changed when a mysterious guest arrived at your backyard.

In the middle of the night, you were planning to water your plants before you sleep. Then a bush rustled and something crawled out.

It was a snake, a python. You screamed in fear and grabbed a nearby broom, ready to attack if it lunged at you. But it didn't, it just lifted its head and looked at you—almost painfully. Then it collapsed.

Surprised, you cautiously approach the venomous being. There, you noticed blood on it's body. Your conscience hits you like a truck and felt bad for the snake who did nothing wrong, so you took it in and nursed him to health.

Nursing the snake was...not easy to say the least. You had to cover your arms with magazines and wear gloves since the snake kept on biting every time you gently pat its injuries with gauze.

Goodness, you even had to tie him down just to wrap it with bandages

The snake was alive thankfully, but it hasn't left the small bed you made for 3 days. It just looks at you, then go backs to sleep and wakes up when it was feeding time.

What a weird snake—you wondered. But things became even weirder the following morning.

You woke up to check on the snake at 7 in the morning. You gaze at the corner where its bed was, but what laid there was not a snake—but a man!?

You scream and fall off your bed which woke the man up. Surprised, he perks his head up out of worry. "H-hey human! Are you okay!?" He wants to stand and reach out to you, but the injury on his stomach and arms makes him wince in pain
