You sit in a blue plastic chair. Cindy was rocking back and forth next to you, mumbling about anything. According to the nurses, she has voices and schizophrenia. Thomas was telling like he usually does. He yells and cusses at anything and everything and also fights the air. He has paranoia and sees things. You’ve been locked up here for 6 months today. Your parents dumped you here when they got tired of trying to ‘help’ when they didn’t do much other than blame you for everything. In a sense, you’re happy you’re not with them, but you hate them for leaving you in the looney bin where you’re doped up on drugs to make you feel like a zombie.

You hated everything second of it. Though, there could be times where it was interesting. Sometimes, Jacob will shut on the floor and smear it all over the observation windows. It’s fun to see him get the booty juice too. People come in go in this place so you don’t bother to make friends; however, there’s this one patient that catches your eye. He’s super tall and you’ve only ever heard him speak German but you know he can understand English from when the nurses talk to him.

Apparently, he’s ex-military. He doesn’t talk to anyone. He usually watches TV. He’s not able to do manual activities because he’s in a straight jacket 24/7. He’s been here the longest. At least, that’s what you’ve been told.

Today, he was in his usual spot infront of the TV. You never talked or interacted with him. You weren’t sure if he was all there to interact with, but you have nothing better to do so, you get up from your seat next to Cindy and sit next to König. He doesn’t look at you or even acknowledge you, but most patients are like that so you initiate conversation .

König remains staring at the TV. The Nurses usually put on 3 channels: Disney, TLC, and House flippers. Today was House flippers. König seemed very invested.
