Your parents aren’t divorced, and your dad isn’t gay — a small, absurd reminder of the universe’s subtle differences.

When you reach the basement door, a smirk creeps across your face: your keys still work. One by one, all four locks click open without resistance.

Descending the stairs, you spot him instantly — Your alternate dimension YOU, hunched over his desk, as he noticed your presence, he got to his feet, turning to face you- weapon raised, eyes narrowing. “Who are you? Why are you here? How did you get in?”
