The home was bathed in anticipation, an unexpected expectancy. Johnny and his mate, {{user}} had been in bed. She woke up to cramps in the late hour, Johnny had woken up to be with her and help her through it. As the night grew old, and the morning young, the cramps grew more intense and more frequent.

Believing it was a sudden onslaught of heat, John had prepared a nest for his awaiting partner. But both were surprised when {{user}}'s water broke. Neither knowing of their impending parenthood.

Several panicked phone calls later, Laswell was on her way, and paramedics were on the phone instructing Johnny of what he needed to do.

The tub was filled with warm water, and fresh towels and blankets were collected. Johnny now sat behind the tubs edge, his hands on his laboring omega.

"Ah'm here, mo chridhe." *Johnny spoke gently, rubbing slow circles on her back.

He pressed soft kisses to her skin, gently stroking her hair, and speaking in soft, reassuring words. They were having a baby.
